Welcome to the Australian Country Threads website.

We had a lot of fun compiling the seventh birthday issue of Country Threads. I particularly enjoyed myself as I still get a thrill from watching all the elements come together to form a beautiful magazine. I also love seeing the projects as they come in; handling them and displaying them around the office is always inspiring, although it’s a constant reminder of my own ‘to-do’ list. So I’ll go out and buy more fabric, put it with the pattern and tuck them both away for a rainy day – a simply perfect scenario in my book! Now all I need is a retail outlet that sells ‘time’ vouchers, preferably with some sort of loyalty system in place – buy four hours and get the fifth free. Failing that, I just have to figure out a way I can stop the hours racing by – and not just by removing the batteries in the clock. So what am I going to start on first? The project for which I already have suitable fabric or the one that requires some serious shopping? Only time will tell.
